 Aswangs are a traditional creature in Filipino folklore, but these monsters are complex and diverse shape-shifters, making them somewhat difficult to define. There are many common traits that aswangs may share, with lots of interpretations and beliefs about the beasts and their diverse abilities. In Filipino folklore, they take on many different roles in storytelling, all of which are interesting narrative devices for the overall mythology.

Disney princesses are a beloved group of strong women, shown in the movies many child watch growing up. Some have magical abilities, but all have a big heart, bravery and a sense of right and wrong. They each have their unique skills, all of which have the potential to be useful in various situations. If the apocalypse were to come, many of the princesses could serve as integral parts of a survival team, each playing a different role. Here is a list of the official Disney princesses, with two additions, ranked in order of least to most potential for getting a team of her people safely through the apocalypse.

Miracle Makers put on Raiderthon every spring, making it a beloved tradition at Wright State University. The goal of this twelve-hour long dance marathon event is to raise money for Dayton Children’s Hospital. Events vary slightly each year, which may leave students wondering what the 2025 Raiderthon will look like as they continue to get excited for the event.
