Wright State’s Michael Cooper Announces Intended Transfer Portal Entry

Basketball season is now over for the Wright State Raiders, which means that the transfer portal is open for the players. 

Michael Cooper is the first player of the 2026 season to announce that he intends to enter the transfer portal. Cooper, number 55 is a 6’3 guard for the Raiders and averaged 13.4 points this season. Cooper also won multiple awards for the Raiders this season in the Horizon League and was recognized for being the top rookie in the league. Cooper also secured multiple honors for freshman of the week in the Horizon League.

This is only the first player of the season to intend to enter the portal so far, but more announcements could come as time goes on.
