New College Age Intensive Outpatient Program

To build an outpatient mental health program for college students, Wright State University (WSU) partnered with Kettering Health, University of Dayton, Sinclair University, Premier Health and other surrounding hospitals.

Faculty Retrenchment: Students' Concerns

In 2021, the Wright State University (WSU) Board of Trustees approved a plan for faculty retrenchment. This plan, intended to "align with enrollment needs," was placed to help save money and keep tuition low. However, there are student concerns about how these retrenchment policies may affect them in the future.

How Rising Housing Costs are Affecting Students

Housing prices continue to be on the rise and Wright State University (WSU) is not immune to it. Housing prices rose 0.05% on campus between the previous and current school years. This has an impact on where students choose to live during college.

Car Stolen from WSU: Is Your Car Safe on Campus?

The Wright State University Police Department (WSUPD) released a campus notice informing all commuters and domestic students that a car was stolen from WSU. The theft occurred between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. After the alert, students were instructed by the WSUPD to enact proficient safety precautions to keep their vehicles and belongings safe.

WSU's Response to Snowstorm Fern Attracts Mixed Reactions

Winter storm Fern hit the Miami Valley, bringing nearly 16 inches of snowfall from Sunday, Jan. 25 to Monday, Jan. 26. Wright State University (WSU) cancelled classes and held virtual learning for the entire week. Many students and their families were left with safety concerns about the following snow removal.
