Wright State Falls in the Horizon League Championship Game

The Horizon League Men’s Baseball Championship began on Wednesday, May 20, and concluded on Saturday, May 23at Nischwitz Stadium. The tournament featured upsets, weather delays, ejections and dramatic endings as five teams battled for the championship title.

Wright State University (WSU) men’s baseball is a program defined by success, with multiple years of winning the Horizon League and multiple players heading to the Major League Baseball (MLB), all built at the Nischwitz Stadium.

WSU Baseball Team Swings into a New Season

The Wright State men’s baseball team will kick off their 2025 spring season on the road, facing Longwood University in a highly anticipated matchup on Feb. 14. Last Season, the Raiders won their sixth consecutive Horizon League regular season title, but ultimately lost to NKU in the Horizon League Championship.
