What to Know About Voting before Election Day

Just as school begins, election time is right around the corner. That might be intimidating for new students, transfers or anyone not from Greene County. While living on campus for the first time can be exciting, there may be lots of confusing legal aspects to it: Should your license list your home address or campus apartment? Where do you vote? Can you vote if you are from a different state?

Dayton's First Female-Driven Theatre Festival: Utopia

This September, three Dayton-area theatre companies joined together to launch the Utopia Theatre Festival, a new event. The festival is aimed at expanding the support, opportunities, access and representation available to local artists. The festival takes place at the University of Dayton’s Black Box Theatre and features three productions developed just over the last few months by coordinators and directors.

Budget for Raider Row Construction to Increase by $2 million

An additional $2 million is to be allocated to the Wright State University Raider Row project. Associate Vice President of Operations Javan Conley spoke to the Board of Trustees on June 26, requesting an additional $2 million to complete the project. This brings the total cost of the project to $4.5 million.

DOJ Proposes Settlement in Ticketmaster Lawsuit

Ticketmaster and its partner company, Live Nation, were hit with an antitrust lawsuit from the Department of Justice (DOJ), accompanied by over 20 states, on Feb. 22, 2024. The suit was because Ticketmaster had built an unfair monopoly by controlling primary ticketing.
