There are thousands of creatures out in the ocean, many of which are beloved by humans. Based on your zodiac sign, which sea creature are you?
Aries
Despite being a fire sign, an Aries almost perfectly encapsulates the energy of a stingray. These creatures are curious, playful creatures that love to interact with others, just like an Aries. They also have a strong attack that is only used when personal space is invaded upon.
Please keep in mind that an Aries does not, in fact, produce as much mucus as a stingray. That is one habit that is not shared!
Taurus
Whale shark’s spend their time roaming the ocean and consuming large amounts of plankton at their leisure. They appreciate their time to relax, just like a Taurus.
Also, whale sharks have become incredibly popular in today’s time and are a common favorite animal. This is like how just about every Taurus is someone’s favorite person!
Gemini
Eels are fast-paced, inquisitive animals that unfortunately have a bad reputation among humans, similar to how the “two-faced” accusation follows a Gemini everywhere. However, this is not the main reason they are similar– both Gemini’s and eels are always in a rush to get things done!
Plus, think of the connection between a Gemini and the eels from “The Little Mermaid.” Both of them represent twins!
Cancer
While the obvious answer for Cancer would be a crab, we offer you a better alternative: the oyster. Oysters have a cold, harsh-looking exterior, but are secretly hiding precious pearls within them. This is just like a Cancer’s rude attitude towards strangers. Once you get to know them, they reveal their own pearl: their kind heart!
Some crabs actually eat oysters. Cancers should be on the lookout for some Cancer-on-Cancer misdeeds like this.
Leo
Leo’s are usually seen as having big personalities, but of all the sea creatures, they are the most like the seahorse, perhaps one of the smallest creatures. Despite their small size, they are largely curious and bold animals who love to interact with others!
Seahorses also have interesting rituals! According to Sea Life London Aquarium, “During mating season, seahorses engage in a courting process where they swim together and their [colors] change whilst their tails intertwine.”
Virgo
Virgos are almost as busy as Gemini’s; with all of their hobbies and responsibilities, they need as many limbs as an octopus to function regularly. Virgos and octopi are also very clever animals– octopi love to trick and deceive humans for the fun of it, while Virgos apply these smarts to more useful endeavors.
Unfortunately, Virgos do not have the same camouflage ability that octopi do.
Libra
A clownfish's co-dependent relationship to anemone reminds a Libra of their friend they are basically co-dependent on. Every Libra has that special bond with someone that has been going on for years, and it is not going to stop anytime soon.
For a Libra, the real question to ask is: are they more like the clownfish or the anemone?
Scorpio
Lobsters are stubborn, feisty animals; however, most humans like them for their unique shell color and overall looks. Many Scorpios are dedicated to standing out in a crowd, just as much as a lobster does in the ocean.
Both also lie in wait to strike. For lobsters, this is to catch prey. For Scorpios, this is to snatch an opportunity that they have been waiting for.
Sagittarius
Dolphins are overly energetic and friendly. It might be one of their favorite pastimes to entertain humans– just like how a Sagittarius would bend over backwards to make a friend happy. Plus, both are incredibly talented!
The darker activities of dolphins are dolphins only. None of the zodiac signs relate to that!
Capricorn
Jellyfish may appear unassuming at first, but almost every species packs a punch in terms of its stinger. Just like a Capricorn, their hidden punch is easy to ignore because of how simple and adorable they can be.
Did you know that jellyfish do not have brains? Maybe that is another reason why Capricorns relate to them!
Aquarius
Turtles are docile yet solitary animals that like to roam the ocean without a care in the world. An Aquarius may have more stressors than the average seat turtle, but their shared enjoyment of alone time is what brings them together.
An Aquarius is also one for advocacy, and when it comes to advocating for cleaner oceans, turtles are the poster figure.
Pisces
Every Pisces is a dreamer, and dreamers love finding the perfect place to nap and actually do their dreaming. One iconic animal known for its sleepy personality and fantastic-looking nap spots is the seal.
These animals are also friendly and cute, just like a Pisces.
