Be prepared: Video helps students understand active shooter situations

As we are getting the details of today’s shooting at Delta State University that left one dead, Wright State is reminding students how to deal with a similar issue on campus.

The Office of Risk Management and the Wright State Police want to be sure that students and staff of the university are prepared for an active shooter situation. The Center for Personal Protection and Safety and the Safe Travel Institute created a training video to assist in the understanding of a possible incidence.

Additionally, students can schedule an in-person training session for your own group by contacting Officer Patrick Ammon at patrick.ammon@wright.edu or by calling (937) 775-2056.

The thirty minute video is called ‘Shots Fired on Campus’ and is available here.
