New pharmacy opens on campus, offering free services to students

Wright State welcomed a new pharmacy to campus. It delivers prescriptions and provides health care screenings free of charge.

Wright Health Pharmacy is located on the second floor of the Wright State Physicians building, which is on University Blvd. near Lot 20. The pharmacy is not technically associated with Wright State; it offers services for the general public as well as students and faculty.

Wright Health provides free prescription deliveries for those that live on campus. They can deliver to any Wright State dorm, apartment or campus building. They also offer student discounts and free health care screenings.

“[Business] was a little slow at first,” Bone said. “But we’re gaining customers every day.”

Wright Health will serve as the first on-campus pharmacy since the Wright State University Pharmacy closed in late 2009, and they claim to accept most insurance plans.
