Dining Services throws Halloween Bash at the Hangar

The Hangar transformed into a haunted house on Halloween. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. students could go to the Hangar, where Dining Services held their first Halloween Bash at the Hangar.

“We had 62 people in our costume contest,” Andrew Deckert, Marketing Manager for Dining Services, said.

Students were dressed as political figures, devils, Lego Man, a Nurse from “Silent Hill,” clowns, a plague doctor and much more. Students in costumes took photos in a photo booth, which entered them into a contest to win an iPad. Dining Services will post the photos Nov. 1 on their Facebook page. The picture with the most likes will win the iPad.

Besides the costume contest, there was music provided by WWSU and a Frito Lay sample table, which handed out free salsa and chips.

The Hangar also had the atmosphere of Halloween. There was a fog machine, flashing lights and decorations throughout the area.

“We hope to have it again because it was really successful,” Deckert said.
