There were several instances of crime reported on the Dayton campus of Wright State University (WSU) from April 13 to 21. The Wright State University Police Department (WSUPD) handled the situations and shared the Public Safety reports.
On April 14, at approximately midnight, there was a case of gross sexual imposition at University Hall. According to reports, WSUPD found the perpetrator, but the victim declined pressing charges.
There was a case of larceny theft that occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. at Maple Hall residence hall. According to reports, the student called WSUPD after tracking their stolen AirPods to the building. The perpetrator was not found.
In total, there were five incidents of property damage that occurred in this week's crime log.
The incidents started on April 13. The first incident took place at the Tom Hanks Center at midnight. The next one happened at Allyn Hall at 11:10 a.m.
Simultaneously, the Lake Campus also experienced a count of property damages. The incident took place in the parking lot at approximately 10:14 a.m.
The next set of property damage cases took place on April 17. The first incident took place in the parking lot of Millet Hall at approximately 11:14 a.m. The next incident happened at approximately 3 p.m. at Allyn Hall.
It is unclear whether all of these cases are connected.
