There were several instances of theft reported on the Dayton campus of Wright State University from June 17 to 26.
The first instance of theft happened in the form of identity theft and fraud. The incident took place across campus, but is closely connected to the Telecommunications Center on June 17 at 2:30 p.m. WSUPD was unable to find the perpetrator.
The second instance took place at the University Park apartments on June 19, also at 2:30 p.m. This also was not followed with an arrest.
Additionally, WSUPD received calls of extortion coming from Aspen Hall. According to the reports, WSUPD arrived on scene at the Woods dorms around 6:52 a.m. on June 17. They were able to find and arrest the perpetrator, however the victim declined charges.
Lastly, the Calamityville Emergency Training Center saw another instance of trespassing on June 22.
