There were instances of underage drinking, trespassing and sexual offenses that took place on the Wright State University (WSU) campus between the days of Feb. 17 and Feb. 23.
On Feb. 19, between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 11:07 p.m., there was a case of gross sexual imposition. Classified as a sexual offense, this is very similar to sexual assault. The crime took place at Boston Hall in The Woods Residential Hall. Due to the nature of the case, there is not much more information available at this time.
The Student Union was the location of two separate trespassing crimes. The first case occurred on Feb. 18 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Then on Feb. 19, WSU Police Department (WSUPD) responded to a second case of trespassing between 11:59 p.m. and 1:29 a.m. During this incident, the perpetrator refused to show identification.
Underaged drinking was found at Hamilton Hall on Feb. 17 at 10:40 p.m. The students involved were recommended to community standards for discipline.
Lastly, on Feb. 20, there was property damage that occurred between 6 p.m. and 9:20 a.m. at College Park. WSUPD responded to the scene and handled the issue.
