According to the Wright State University Public Safety Department's files, two fires, domestic disputes and a reported car theft occurred on campus between the dates of Oct. 26 to Nov. 14.
Fires
On Oct. 26, 2025, a fire was reported at the Palms Residential Hall, which is located in The Woods. The fire was extinguished, and a report was taken.
The next day, Oct. 27, 2025, another fire happened on campus. This time, the fire took place on Raider Road, which is the road behind the Nutter Center and next to the Mini University on the outskirts of campus. The event took place at approximately 9:55 a.m. The fire was extinguished, and a report was filed.
Other disturbances
There were reports of a domestic dispute and disorderly conduct at Laurel Hall, located in The Woods. The issue was resolved, and all students involved were recommended to the community standards office for discipline.
The WSU Police Department received telecommunication harassment, or a prank call, on Nov. 5. The perpetrator has not been discovered.
On the same day, at approximately 4 p.m., a theft occurred, also in Laurel Hall. An investigation was held to find the stolen items, but nothing has been found. A report was filed.
A student was found damaging property at Millett Hall on Nov. 7. The crime is believed to have gone down between the times of 6:20 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. the next day. The student accused was recommended to community standards for further disciplinary action.
On Nov. 8, a sexual assault, specifically a rape, was reported in the College Park Community. This case is still under investigation.
Threats were made at Pine Hall on Nov. 2 around midnight. According to the reports, WSUPD came to the residential hall, responding to a call about threats of violence. According to the WSU crime logs, the victim of the crime declined prosecution. WSUPD filed the report and closed the case.
Alcohol and drinking
On Nov. 1, 2025, an Operating a Vehicle under the Influence was reported in the College Park Community. This incident resulted in the arrest of the offending party.
Underage drinking was reported within the College Park Community, on Nov. 5. WSUPD responded to the situation, where they found underage students who were under the influence of alcohol. All reports were filed, and students involved were recommended to community standards for discipline.
Car theft
On Oct. 31, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a student living in the Honors dorm reported that their car was missing. WSUPD sent out an all-campus WSU emergency message notifying students of the car theft.
