According to a tweet from the Wright State College of Liberal Arts, the university will be dedicating a garden space on the Dayton Campus in honor of Shawn English, a WSU alum who was killed in combat in Iraq in 2006.
On Jan. 8, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed multiple executive orders, one of which banned certain foreign-owned apps, including Tik Tok, on state-owned devices.

President Joe Biden met with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico on Jan. 9 to strengthen the bond between the two nations. The two also discussed ways to prevent the trafficking of drugs, firearms and people across the shared border.
On Jan. 13, President Biden invited Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan to the White House, where the two discussed the alliance between the two nations.
“The United States' message is clear: our investment in the U.S.-Japan alliance is paying huge dividends – from national security to economic issues,” Biden tweeted.

According to the National Aeronautics Space Administration, 2022 was the fifth warmest year on record, tied with 2015.
“The past nine years have been the warmest years since modern recordkeeping began in 1880,” NASA explained.
