Wright State University announces the opening of a COVID-19 testing and vaccination center on campus.
Testing
WSU announced in a campus-wide email on Oct. 13 that a testing center for students, staff and faculty will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in 023 Student Union.
According to the email, the testing center is limited to asymptomatic testing only. Anyone showing symptoms of COVID will need to contact Wright State Physicians.
The testing center will conduct random asymptomatic testing for students, staff and faculty. Those selected for testing may also complete an at-home testing kit.
“Anyone who fails to complete the required testing will receive a single opportunity to reschedule their test. A second failure to complete the required testing will result in a referral to Student Conduct for students or Human Resources for employees,” the email says.
Vaccinations
Along with asymptomatic testing, students, faculty and staff can also receive the Pfizer vaccination at the same location. Vaccinations are by appointment only.
Students, faculty and staff who are vaccinated are encouraged toreporttheir vaccination status to the university.
