Bolinga Black Art Expo

Occurring now in the Student Union atrium is the first Bolinga Black Art Expo, organized by the Black Cultural Resources Center. Fitting the theme of Black History Month, the expo proudly showcases afrocentric art of all mediums, including paintings, music and more. Nycia Bolds, assistant director of the center, enthusiastically invites all to come.

“Yes, it absolutely allows art to meet education,” Bolds said. “We have all kinds of wonderful art and people. Anyone would enjoy it.”

There is a very upbeat and social atmosphere to the event, making it inviting for nearly everyone. The tables are full of interesting and original works, some of which are for sale. The event lasts until 2PM.
