Demming's shines in exhibition

Wright State’s women’s basketball team started their season off with an 83-58 routing of Indiana Wesleyan.

It was just an exhibition match, but a great chance for Wright State to see just what they have from a talent standpoint. The answer was pretty clear: Kim Demmings.

Demmings led all scorers with 30 points on 13-22 shooting. She also added six rebounds and four assists for the Raiders.

Even with the scoring outburst from Demmings, it was still a total team effort as all 10 players who dressed, scored in the exhibition.  Freshmen Mackenzie Taylor and Emily Vogelpohl were especially involved, chipping in 10 and nine points respectively.

Vogelpohl added five rebounds as well.

The Raiders face the University of Miami Nov. 13 for their season opener.
