Raiders Win Round 1

The Raiders defeated Bowling Green in three straight sets in the Hampton Inn Invitational on Friday Sept. 4.

The Raiders had four more blocks, six more assists and seven more service aces than the Falcons.  They recorded 55 points on 40 kills on a .255 hitting percentage.

Senior Marisa Aniello collected 15.5 points on 11 kills, three service aces and a .471 hitting percentage.

Sophomore Katie Klusman collected 14 points off of 12 kills and a .226 shooting percentage.

Sophomore Maddie Lohmier has now had over 30 assists in all five games this season as she collected 36 assists.

Senior Katie Glassmeyer and sophomore Jessie Thornoton each contributed nine digs.

The Raiders are now 4-1 on the season and will face IPFW tomorrow at 10 a.m. and Loyola at 5:30 p.m.
