STEMM scholarship now available for undergraduate women

A scholarship is available for undergraduate women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine)-related fields, provided by the Women in Science Giving Circle.

Three awards are granted each year and add up to $1,500 a piece.  The deadline for the scholarship is Feb. 21, 2014.  Applicants may submit electronic copies to WISGC@wright.edu.

“In late April, we will have a special event to showcase the accomplishments of the Women in Science Giving Circle and at that time we will announce scholarship winners for next year,” said Adrian Corbett, a chair on the Communications and Bylaws Committee.

Women in Science Giving Circle seeks to raise funds in order to support women pursuing undergraduate careers in STEMM.
