Piada opens on Pentagon Blvd.

The Italian eatery Piada opened its Pentagon Blvd. branch to a crowd of hungry campers Friday morning.

The company offered a year's worth of free Piada to the first 100 guests, according to Piada Market Partner Ben Protheroe.

"We had a lot of people camped out," Protheroe said.

Piada offers Italian dishes such as pasta bowls, salads and of course, Piadas.

The restaurant is located in the same complex as Chipotle on Pentagon Blvd. and is opened from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
