Complainants not to file formal allegations in WSU police chief investigation

The two employees who made informal allegations of sexual harassment against Wright State Police Chief Michael Martinsen have indicated that "they will not proceed with the university's Affirmative Action Complaint Procedure," according to a Sept. 13 press release from the university.

Martinsen was placed on paid administrative leave pending investigation into informal allegations of sexual harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation and misuse of the university's credit card, the university said Monday.

Although WSU has not found any evidence of misconduct on the part of Mr. Martinsen, they released a statement saying that the complainants have been "reassigned...to other departments on campus."

The investigation of Mr. Martinsen will continue for the "other allegations of hostile work environment, retaliation, and misuse of the university's credit card," said a statement released by WSU.
