The search for the next campus food provider continues

The search for the new Wright State food provider has entered the homestretch, as the four competing finalists will be visiting campus in the coming weeks to present to the university.

ARAMARK, Chartwells, Ovations/American Dining Creations and current provider Sodexo will each give a 30-minute presentation and a question and answer session of the same length, both open to the entire university. There will be paper forms there for attendees to score the presenters, and make comments that will be considered in the decision making process, according to Executive Director of Business Services Art Neff.

“I will take that information and consider it as a piece of the puzzle,” Neff said.

All public presentations will be held in the Rathskeller. They will take place at the following dates and times:

  • ARAMARK: Wednesday, March 27 from 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Chartwells: Wednesday, March 27 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Ovations/American Dinning Creations: Thursday, March 28 from 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Sodexo: Thursday, March 28 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The companies will also be presenting to the committee designated to decide the next food provider on the same day they present publically.

The final decision on food providers is scheduled for announcement the week of April 1.
