Death confirmed in campus housing

Further reports regarding the "medical emergency" that took place Tuesday on the third floor of Maple Hall, while not yet released, suggest that while a death was confirmed, the cause of death may not be suicide but a diabetic coma which then caused the student to pass away.

This conflicts initial reports to the Guardian from multiple sources within the Office of Residence Services that a suicide took place.

The Guardian will update on the details of the situation as information becomes available.
