A way to save

There is another transportation option awaiting those who are tired of parking at WSU. For those who live in Montgomery County, the buses of the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) may be a viable option. Those who live near a bus stop may find that the vivid green paint of the buses correlate to the green they are keeping in their pockets.  The RTA charges $55 for a monthly pass, which is already less than what most students pay per month for gas, making it an inexpensive option for transportation. Route 1, which is the bus that runs through campus, and buses begin as early as 5:10am and run as late as 1:04am.  Schedules may be picked up at the Parking and Transportation office, located on the first floor of the Student Union or can be viewed at the bus stop itself.  Tickets are sold at the bookstore. “This is easiest for me,” a student called out the window from a departing bus, “I can get to school and work, and I don’t have to worry about maintaining a car.”
