Between the days of Jan. 21 and Jan. 30, Wright State University (WSU) faced multiple crimes. These included assault, larceny theft and traffic stops.
The University Park apartments were the location of an assault between the hours of 6:00 p.m. Jan. 21 and 3:06 a.m. Jan. 22. According to reports, the assault was classified as non-aggravated and dating violence. The issue was closed by Jan. 23, and all parties were referred to the community standards office for further disciplinary action.
The Honors Residential Hall had instances of larceny occur on Jan. 23 at approximately 7:00 p.m. No perpetrators were caught in this offense, and the case was closed the next morning.
Additionally, on Jan. 29, larceny was reported out of Allyn Hall. According to reports, items were taken from the academic building between the hours of 7:50 p.m. and 8:24 p.m. The issue was closed by 10:40 p.m., but no suspects were caught.
Lastly, a traffic stop occurred outside the Student Union. Reports state the stop occurred on Jan. 29 at approximately 1:15 p.m., after a small accident occurred. All parties involved were deemed safe.
