Russ coffee stop grand opening: Keeping the sleepy at bay

This morning Russ Engineering saw the grand opening of its own coffee establishment, the Reynolds Express Lane: Coffee Pit Stop, to the delight of caffeine-dependent students and faculty both there and in Joshi next door.

The $1 million coffee shop is brought to Russ by Chartwells and Reynolds and Reynolds as one step in a continuing long-term relationship.

The shop, featuring a Starbucks similar to the one in Dunbar Library, hosts a quaint no-seating convenience store atmosphere.

 

Menu items include:

Starbucks Drinks: Caffe Latte, Caffe Mocha, Cappucino, Iced and Hot Tazo Teas, Hot Chocolate

Other Drinks: Sodas, Water, Juices (in a sliding vender)

Food: Breakfast items like bagels and croissants, Salads, Wraps, Fruit, Sushi

Other: Candy, Chips

 

Prices for items range from $1-5. Meal swipes are accepted, but Starbucks gift cards are not.

 

The hours of operation:

Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
