After Wright State’s loss to Oakland on Friday, Nov. 6 in the regular season finale, soccer head coach Bryan Davis said he wanted to play Northern Kentucky in the first round of the Horizon League tournament. He’s gotten his wish.

The Raiders men’s soccer team will travel to NKU Monday to take on the Norse (8-6-4, 5-3-1) at 7 p.m. In their first season as a Horizon League team, NKU captured the third seed in the tournament, while Wright State (10-7-1, 4-4-1) fell to the sixth seed.

NKU topped Wright State 1-0 at Alumni Field on Sept. 22, in double-overtime. In fact, the last two meetings between the two teams saw the Norse beating the Raiders in overtime.
